Biancarosa’s teaching philosophy is that students are entitled to a safe environment where lessons are developed with best practices and the student’s interests in mind.
Her lessons are geared to encourage conversation and connect with neighboring subjects such as science and math, which reflects her STEAM educator experience from working in a science center.
Her goal is to introduce students to artwork and art from around the world as well as from their local community and to develop projects that connect with students' identities and ideas.
Biancarosa’s classroom management style is to utilize restorative practices, because it focus on repairing harm and building positive relationships, rather than solely resorting to punishment for misbehavior.
